Thoughts from a mother who lost her child

Teach me the basics of life

Every day without fail

Always loving me

Carry me when I cry

Heartfelt love between a mother and child.

When a mother has to bury her child,

all her efforts and teaching died.

Thirty-one years of nurturing came to naught.

My poor dandelion has flown away

taking a big piece of my heart with her.

I felt chills when I read this. My daughter died at age 16 almost 20 years ago.
