A year ago, I blogged about a birthday lunch at Miss Moonshine with a 6-month-old baby.
Time flies, Baby Kirsty’s dad is another year older. Today, our family celebrated Jin’s birthday at Farina, an Italian restaurant in Ponsonby.
The restaurant is very cozily decorated and the lady staff was very nice and friendly. We ordered a few dishes to share. The girls had a few cocktails but I am old-fashioned (no drinks for me during lunch unless it is Christmas) and had my regular cappuccino.
I love their pizza crust, thin and crunchy. My favorite dish was the lamb ribs. We sat at the table with the sofa and that was comfortable even with two toddlers who were pretty hard to control. Overall, the service, ambience and food were great.
Farina deserves a 4.5 (rounded up to 5) Zomato’s ratings from happy diners and two very playful toddlers. The environment was indeed child-friendly. Highly recommended for an authentic taste of Italy.
